5 Tage - 30 Jugendliche - viel Programm & vor allem deutsch-polnischer Kulturaustausch!

Die deutsch-polnische Silvesterbegegnung steht im Sinne des Hambacher Festes (27. - 30. Mai 1832):

Als die Freiheit der Völker von innen und außen bedroht war, erhoben sich die Freigeister und Patrioten wider der Unterdrückung: Etwa 30 000 Menschen aus Deutschland, Polen und mehrere Hundert Verbindungsstudenten nahmen am Zug zum Hambacher Schloss teil, um für ihre Freiheit und gegen Unterdrückung zu demonstrieren. Deutsche und Polen waren vereint im Geiste der französischen Revolution und die Losung hieß damals wie noch heute: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité.

Philipp Jakob Siebenpfeiffer, einer der Initiatoren des Hambacher Festes, hielt eine Rede, in der er den Freiheitswillen Deutscher und Polen prieß:

"Es lebe das freie, das einige Deutschland! Hoch leben die Polen, der Deutschen Verbündete! [...] Hoch lebe jedes Volk, das seine Ketten bricht und mit uns den Bund der Freiheit schwört!"

Nun stellt sich aber noch die Frage, wieso gerade an Silvester?

Das Neujahr ist die beste Zeit, um Jugendlichen eine Möglichkeit der ungezwungenen Zusammenkunft zu geben. Alle haben die nötige Freizeit, sind entspannt und freuen sich auf das Neujahr. Was wäre besser, als zum Jahresumbruch etwas Neues zu lernen, Freundschaften über Grenzen hinweg zu schließen und noch gemeinsam ein internationales Silvesterfest zu erleben? Wohl nichts ;-)

Spotkanie młodzieżowe na Sylwestra?

5 dni – 30 młodych ludzi – obszerny program a przede wszystkim niemiecko-polska wymiana kulturowa!

Sylwestrowe spotkanie niemiecko-polskie zasadza się w rozumieniu Hambacher Fest (demonstracja od 27 do 29 maja 1832, która jest obecnie symbolem demokracji niemieckiej):

Gdy wolność narodów była zagrożona tak od środka jak i z zewnątrz, podnieśli się wolnomyśliciele i patriocie przeciwko uciskowi. Około 30 000 obywateli z Niemiec, Polski i wiele setek studentów wzięło udział w pochodzie na zamek w Hambach, aby demonstrować za wolnością i przeciwko uciskowi. Niemcy i Polska byli zjednoczeniu w duchu rewolucji francuskiej a jej hasłem tak wtedy jak i teraz było: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité (wolność, równość, braterstwo).

Philipp Jakob Siebenpfeiffer jeden z inicjatorów Hambacher Fest, wygłosił mowę, w której wychwalał intencje wolnościowe Niemców i Polaków:

„Niech żyją wolne, zjednoczone Niemcy! Niech żyją Polacy, sojusznicy Niemieców! [...] Niech żyje każdy naród, który zrywa swoje okowy i wraz z nami ślubuje przymierze wolności.”

Teraz powstaje tylko pytanie, dlaczego akurat na Sylwestra?

Nowy Rok to najlepszy czas, by dać młodym ludziom możliwość niewymuszonego spotkania. Wszyscy mają w tym okresie wolny czas, są rozluźnieni i cieszą się na nowy rok. Cóż może być lepszego, niż nauczenie się czegoś nowego na przełomie roku, zawarcie nowych przyjaźni przekraczających granice, a do tego jeszcze wspólna, międzynarodowa zabawa sylwestrowa? Chyba nic ;-)

A Youth Seminar around New Year’s Eve?

5 days - 30 students – a full programme & most of all plenty of German-Polish cultural exchange!

The German-Polish New Year’s Eve Seminar recalls the idea of the Feast of Hambach (May 27-30, 1832):

Back then, when the liberty of peoples was threatened from inside and outside, freethinkers as well as patriots rose up against oppression: about 30 000 people from Germany and Poland took part in the march to the Hambach Castle in order to fight for their rights. Germans and Poles were united in the spirit of the French revolution and followed the motto: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité.

Philipp Jakob Siebenpfeiffer, one of the initiators of the Feast of Hambach, held a speech praising the will for liberty:

"Long live free and united Germany! Long live all the Poles, the allies of the Germans! […] Long live every folk that breaks its chains and that covenants the oath of liberty"

It is left to wonder, though, why we chose to organise this seminar around New Year’s Eve?

The New Year is the best time of year to meet with other young people in a casual manner. All are free of work, are relaxed and are looking forward to the New Year. How could one possibly experience a better turn of the year than by learning something new, by getting to know new friends and by spending an international New Year’s Eve together?
